Lawyers, Guns and Money; Plants vs. Zombies

by Paris Buttfield-Addison

A typical lawyerI’ve been so busy with meetings with lawyers lately that I think I’m starting to become on. It’s certainly interesting being in a room with five to seven lawyers and having to hold my own in their discussions. Perhaps I should do a Laws degree next? At the very least, I’ll loop Lawyers, Guns and Money (not the original) for a while (great song!) Many of the fairly decent results that have come out of my meetings with lawyers have come from me simply quoting Alan Shore or Denny Crane. At least I’m not hiding in Honduras yet…

On a more entertaining note, the new PopCap game, Plants vs. Zombies is one of the greatest “casual games” I’ve ever had the fortune to play. I so thoroughly enjoyed it during the 60 minutes of trial gameplay that I immediately paid for it (a bargain at $30 AUD). I’ve been playing for at least 6 hours so far and it shows no signs of slowing down! Not to mention it has an awesome sandbox mode and a series of great mini-games.

A mere 24 days until departure for San Francisco!
